I think the MSO's are trying to keep their profits as high as they can becouse they see the hand writing on the wall. W/ wireless technology expanding the way it is its just a matter of time before the harline and twisted pair starts comeing off the poles. Its cheaper to mail a wireless modem to a customer and let them set it up themselves than sending a truck and tech to do an install. I think w/in 20 years our business will have gone the way of the pony express. Some day soon it may be prudent to start finding a new career. Just my opinion.
