Re: Available Channel Needed in Cox Phoenix

Looks like analog channel 68 is your best shot in Phoenix. Ch66 is Speed Network .... Nothing again until channel 70.

Things to consider .....
1) Get someone one there in town with a meter to confirm that there is no carrier between 794Mhz and 800Mhz. 794Mhz starts channel 68.

2) Be aware that Cox Communication has Digital Simulcast in some (if not all) it's markets. They might be using ch68 to jam in a few digital channels.

3) Before you connect and power up the CCTV equipment, make sure you place a Pico Filter either at D-Mark or at the tap. May not sound like much, but very important. Last thing you want to do is cause ingress and take down the whole node.

GL and let us know how it goes.
