Just wondering if anyone has came across this before:
Had analog cable up a street for 10 years, recently customers on the 2 last spans of service lost their channels, except for channel 3 which is extremely clear, the trunk servicing the street hasnt changed, a 32 apartment building 3 spans before these last 2 spans of homes are clean also. Checked the line extender, its clean, tried 6db input eq, 11db input eq, no change, tried gain/slope no change, checked the cable its clean no cracks, leakage, etc. Finally tried lower value taps, no change, though perhaps too much signal not the case, tried attinuators up to 32db no change, any suggestions?
