I'm thinking of hanging it up for good as well. The first five months of this year were the worst paying 5 months I've ever had in this business, and by far. And that's going back well over 20 years. I have made less so far this year than I did in the early-mid eighties. And we all know how much cheaper the cost of living was back then. At least those that were even alive back then know, lol. Most of my pay checks this year were less than the paycheck from my FIRST WEEK IN CABLE. And I'm a contractor now, was an employee then. And it's not just one contractor that I'm with, I have worked for 3 different ones so far this year.
