Re: Can a employee be back charged?

I agree 100%. I worked for a company that issued me a truck. I spend a lot of money in tools so that my job is made easier and that I can test everything. One monday I get into the truck and realise that someone was using it. I immediately check for all my tools. My line tester/TDR is missing. I asked the owner who did they lend my truck to? They lent it to a supposedly former dope fiend. I said your pet crackhead stole my $500 tester! She says later that she asked him and he said no! She also stated that she caught him in the past stealing and he admitted to it! She then did her best to wiggle her way out of paying for it. I got even! I overbilled her when I fixed damage claims. Ever since then I empty any company vehicle that I use after work. If I take home the vehicle I make sure that it is inaccessible!
