Well, it looks like North Carolina DOT is at it again. I just got word from a supervisor that NCDOT has decided to tighten up the regulations some more. As of June 2009 I am told that if you so much have one tire on the road you must place 10 cones and 3 signs behind and 6 cones and 3 signs in front. On top of that a flagger in front and one in back. The sign stands have to be collapsable as to not damage the idiots car who runs over them. I didn't ask but we will probably have to go to 36" cones instead of the 27" we are using now. Oh yeah, the flaggers have to be certified. As if we are not over regulated allready. When will it end. Yeah, I know, when they plant me in the backyard..............Bill
