Of all the manufacturers I've seen, they all have some sort of identifying mark in common. The MC2 will be stamped as such. P3 may be marked P3 or K3. There's going to be a 3 or 1 somewhere. Evert QR connector I've seen was marked"QR". Same for TX series. I've only handled five different brands of connectors that I can remember, so it may be different with the others.
