I think the main reason they allowed the housing collapse and continue to do so is simply put a grab for power and riches. Yesterday they told us that the Federal Reserve would now have oversight of all our banking institutions. No consent from congress, not that they would not give it. What scares me most is how complacent the people are. A private corporation that has never ever been audited having oversight is power gone wild. Hey maybe Jerry Springer could make a show of it.
