Sounds like glow plugs , try this , if your glow plugs aren't completly shot , and they shouldn't be at that mileage , this should work , turn your key on, the wait to start light should appear ,let it run through the cycle until the light goes out , then don't crank it , turn the key back off for five seconds , turn it back on and run through the wait to start procedure again , do this three times , if it cranks then its your glow plugs , if not let me know , you could be losing fuel pressure due to a leak or dirty fuel filter . Try that and post the results and I'll help you further.
