NOT TRUE!!! Here (Boston) almost everything is common dmarc, sometime we'll each have our own locked box and all the apt drops are wide open so which ever providers get them they run a jumper onto that apt. other bldg's if a 2nd company comes in the first has to remove the locks from there box so you can jump into them, the cable co's don't have a choice. It's been like this for years (at least here).
