It is because of all the middle men in the market place today. the people that sit in thier office and make money for your hard work. They are the big contract companies out there that thier bother or other family member makes sure they get the contract with the big bucks and they hire you as a sub to do the work for pennies. It is basic insder trading 101.
The thing about it is they hire you as a sub but that is to keep from them having to pay your matched taxes when you are in reality a 1099 employee. So when are we as a botherhood of trades men going to wise up and stand up and say no more?
