Re: Two cable sources

On Comcast I get all my locals in HD. I get 3, 6, 10, 29, etc. With my Plasma I also get 3-1, 6-1, 10-1, etc and they are HD. It is there already.

My modulator has 4 inputs via Composite (left+right+Video) in and it goes out via RG-6 on channel 72, 82, 92 & 102.

If I want DirecTV I put the TV on Channel 92 and if I want the Comcast box (mainly OnDemand) I change to channel 102. The other 2 are unused.

I want to put the 4 channels on the modulator and still get the HD locals

I did try using a splitter backwards but it didn't give me the HD locals.

I tried to explain this simple but it probably didn't come out that way.

Thanks for all the replies. I didn't want to use the Switch box (A/B) because I have everything wired into the basement like a headend and IR control. All the TVs just have a TV on the wall and an IR sensor. It would suck to do all that work then have to do downstairs to flip the switch.
