Business License

Ok so I go to the county office to get a business license so I can open a new business checking account. I am told I now have to have a low voltage license in the state of Georgia to work on cable, sat dish, and alarms. In the past cable tv was exempt. Does anyone know what the real scoop is on this? I asked the person and they also said anyone installing dish, cable tv, telephone wiring of any kind in homes, poles, underground have to get licensed as well. This is nuts.
