well personally I think thats an unfair statement;

I will only sign the Scope of Work and Terms of Payment in a Contract any other BS that they try to include in it Like..Non Compete or Lien Waiver will be scratched out and folded up into a 4x4 piece of paper and be turned in with a big brown streak on it.. .. If a Company want's to force that crap on you then you don't need to work for them.. and if you are that hard up to sign it then .. bend over and take it like a ... Hack.. because only hacks settle for crap like that

when all the systems around you are comcast how are you going to avaid a mechanics lein, they will just tell you if you don't sign the contract they won't hire you its that simple, do you really believe you can go into there office and say oh this page of the contract is null & void and expect to get a job there, I doubt it very much.
