Re: Amtec

I have to add my 2 cents into this. I don't usually read anything that has to do with installs. I guess that is what the point of this subject. I did my 1st install in 1978 back when cable installers were God's, Everyone wanted cable and would do anything to get cable. I was 18 and we had customers offering us just about anything to get them hooked up ASAP. We didn't have to ground anything,All drops were with RG59 and we drilled holes any where we could to get the drop to the TV's and yes I remember transformers, lol. No cable ready TV's back in the day. I moved on to splicing off hooks/Underground construction and now the easiest of all areas of the biz Direct sales and I wouldn't do an install if my life depended on it. Installers are under paid, over worked and under appreciated .I'm not saying the dawgs that hump poles are not the real deal but installers have a tuff job too and yes I now depend on installers to get my sales installed :)
I think we all have tuff jobs and all of us need each other.

Just my 2 cents for what its worth, maybe not even 2 cents
Any one have any info on Star Com?? I think there out of FL. Thanks
