You are exactly correct. The Christian right who have done everything they can to eliminate the separation of church and state, do so at their own peril. When this wall comes down you threaten everyone's right to worship or not worship as they please including your own.
They are the true terrorists in this country. I lived close to the Alabama Florida State Line. Before the laws were changed, Baptist terrorists and their Sunday Liquor laws chased me every Sunday to the fFlorida state line to get a beer. Who do they think they are shoving their narrow-minded hypocritical agenda down my throat.
Yes prayer has no place in School, and pledging allegiance to God under anything should not be a part of public schools. Trivial things like In God We Trust on coins are a waste of effort trying to change.. So what.. Let them have that, there are more important fronts we have to fight them on. Like praying to God another Scali or Thomas doesn't get on the Supreme Court.
