You mean these geniuses don't have a duplicate set of keys to what ever they stole from you???
Sounds like you work for some incompentent people..and you can buy a lot of keys for $500.00. Personally I'd tell them to kiss my ass and get another job, sounds like that's what they want anyway, setting the cost so high on lost keys.
There are plenty of jobs out there now, and you can work for decent contractors and have a choice...I got tired of their **** and got out of cable..was managing projects for 30 years, took me a long time to get enough.
