Did you sign anything when given the keys?
Lock box keys, security tools etc usually come with a high replacement cost. More than the actual cost to try to impress on you the value the MSO places on system security. If you can not return them on demand they may be able to collect. The company did not sign an agreement with the robber they signed the tool/key usage agreement with you. Do you have insurance that covers loss of tools?
