when you say grocery getter, do you mean car, station wagon, or suv..... i work out of my expedition and so far, it has been better than working out of any truck imo because once i let the back seats down i have about the same amount of space as a pick up or van and everything stays dry and i have a custom ladder rack that has my 28' and my 6' ladder secured.
