Those prices arent just down south, they are here in the midwest also, the primes for Comcast are stating that is how comast pays . They are the lowest here in the area, and are buying up everything fast, so I think we can blame alot of it on MSO and primes as well, they are keeping the majority of the pie...My husband works for a company that pays no trip charge, but he has to get a meter # for the work order to show he was there, I say if you waste you time and gas to go, you should be paid a nominal charge for it!!! These primes are getiing away with murder, taking more and more from the contractors, and every year act like their contracts havent change.. BULLSHI****
