impulse

I am working with gi and motorola gear. I have an amp then two taps then an le. I can pull power off the le and impulse goes away. It does me no good to pull the reverse pads in the le. The problem seems to be related to the power only. I have replaced first the le mod, then the entire le including housing. Does someone have the experience of this problem.
