I'm neither lazy or green and i work in house. After 27 years in the
field, mostly climbing i find that i can barely walk to my truck in the morning let alone climb anymore. one hip replacement, two knee surgeries, fusion surgery on my neck etc... Almost all due to the daily grind of giving all i had to a thankless industry that just happens to run in my blood, plus the fact that i'm too old and stupid to learn new tricks keeps me where i'm at, plus i figure they owe me the benefits that pay for all these injuries. There are other reasons for being in-house other than being lazy, green incompetant etc... Without the oppurtunity to work in-house i would be in dire straights without benefits and no other job skills to fall back on. I hope that you get in a secure position before your production days are behind you. You can only get after it for so long! Anyway no disrespect to you at all and good luck to you and may you find the good jobs a plenty!
