a DECENT NEXTEL AND A SDA5000 should do ya right! Ya really don't need to know much about coax if your going off an engineers design. You'll be in contact with the head end (if you're gonna do it right) and have those levels "cookin" via fiber before the splicers start their stuff. If the levels aren't set properly "before" the changeover now ya got problems that affect everybody! Sweepers are gonna "love" ya too! Just "my" experience! Actually spliced in the equipment before cutting in the node (active system) and transferred 12 nodes over starting at "midnight"! Went pretty "smooth" minus a couple node locations that a phone call to the head end rectified! Not claiming "expert" status , just my experience! Later, Mike M.
