these were my thoughts exactly. here's the reasoning i don't think anyone that this has happened to has been rational enough to express...................piece rate is piece rate...........doesn't matter if you may me 60 percent or 5 percent.........you can't assume payment on your invoice then charge me back based on your assumptions............you expected 55 percent on that job, but when you paid the next guy it came to 60.......so back charge me the extra 5 and your projected paid invoice 3 months later still ads up? it blows my mind and i think it's mostly a way to get everyone to accept the "new pay raise" get 25 percent less on your own work and get 15 percent more to fix someone else's crap. i'm with the guy that says he's not fixing someone else's hackness for regular money. it's hard enough to wipe my youngest boy's ass. i'm not wiping anyone elses for less that it would have cost to have me do the crap myself.
