Just a thought but a few years ago I had a headend that the ac/heating went on the fritz the heat came on and stuck on in July burnt out all of the equipment in the headend. I did some checking and found that they make alarm systems for headends and CO's that have high and low temp alarms that you can set. They can even call a phone or pager.
