No, ALL Catagory 5 4 pair has 4 pairs. Likewise, ALL Catagory 5 25 pair has 25 pairs. 'Catagory 5' is not a cable, although, like we do, it is referenced as such. It is an electrical standard for 100 mhz transmission and could exist in 2 or 7 pair if a market existed.
