I own two of those exact same drills and they absoultley rule!!! They weigh next to nothing and have some serious power. At night the led's are super handy also. I also dig the 15 minute recharge time. I know the warranty isn't the same as the Rigid, but I like my Makita and I also purchased the 3 year extension for both of them but it's looking like it wasn't needed.
I use them for splicing and sweeping, don't know if you do the same or are using for installs but either way you should be happy.
