Amen! However if this happens there is a good chance that the customer is not going to agree to your charges. He may then call the Sat or Cable company to complain. They may make a big issue about it and your prime is going to take it out on your work load. It is wrong but it has happened to me before and I refused Sat work unless directly contracted to the sub. Remember that even if your prime agrees with you that the SAT companies usually have a contract that allows them to backcharge first and figure out later. Some Sat dealers and primes have a setup where the Sat company direct deposits and backcharges directly from their account. This can happen based on a customer complaint. My friend used to transfer the money to another bank so that they wouldn't get jack until he went to the problem.
