I have to agree with you 95% on this one. There are a select few "techs" out there that have the spic and span truck for the simple fact that they don't do very much if anything at all. They are hourly or salary based employees that do so little in a day they have nothing better to do than sit in a parking lot or cul-de-sac and go to town with the armor all and windex, do a quick job or two and be home by noon or so.
