Doing time study, like most customers, they don't know how long it takes to do a QUALITY job, therefore-time study.
This also helps to determine the cost of the job, take 25 jobs of various task and average it out to come up with a standard installation.
Take that time x average hourly labor rate-you got your unit rate of pay. Oh I forgot-this is cable work so cut that rate in half and you get your pay for doing a quality job.
