how were you measuring the distortion and at what test point? T/P in the amp, tap on amp, tap downstream, ground block... etc
Have you tried to R&R all the plug ins (pads, eqs, agc's, modules)? If you haven't you should do that first if you are sure the amp is balanced correctly. It sounds like your inputs are a little high... how close are you to the feeding active?
