Re: Putting Life in true perspective

I want to thank all those those that replied and/or private messaged.
For some strange reason it helps to share the pain I am going through with this.
It's a difficult thing to leave the house to go to work thinking it could be the last time I see her alive. But, she is very happy with her life! That give me a sense of relief to know that I am giving her the best life that I can.
I appreciate the suggestions each of you had and to put your minds at ease I want to say that I have consulted with the world renown MM specialist from out of the country Dr. Durie. He is in turn making sure that the Helena Cancer treatment center is giving my wife the most up-to-date care possible. He says she is on the "best cocktail" that money can buy! So I will have full faith in her medical care.
As far as a Hospice? I would never place my wife in a Hospice. If she is going to pass away it will be right here in her home in the country with the comfort of her husband by her side.
If I have to hire a personal aide I will in order to make sure that she stays comfortable in her home.
I promised her to take care of her "till death due us part" and I will do so regardless of my foolish mistakes in our past.
The tennis ball size tumor that has been sticking our of her chest ofr the past 30 days has shrunk to about half the size. We believe this is a very positive sign.
Marty is a very spiritually strong person. She is also a true trooper.
Thank you all for your prayers!
