youre right. it should be our responsibilty to fully troubleshoot a service call from the node to the customers equipment. i wish they would train us for that. but the reality is that it would take too much to train every tech for that. if you havent noticed, mso's do not like to tie up their assets in qualifiing their tech's in more advanced troubleshooting procedures. the turn-over rate for technitions is too great. mso's would rather screw over a few customers until problem can be resolved.
