Don't forget the 2K is before you pay your insurances, take out your taxes, including self-employment taxes, pay for hotels, meals, breakdowns/repairs, maybe charge backs....and most importantly, hoping you get paid 3-4 weeks out as promised. Don't let greed blind you...do the math and you'll see you probably aren't doing too bad after all.
