I just started this new job with direct tv. and they are requiring their techs to use solid copper cable. Their QC guy said they have a problem with copper clad because it causes signal degregation on their high def reciever. My question is what is the signal output of one of these recievers and what is the signal loss on copper clad as compared to solid copper. At what length of cable does this signal loss really effect the system? Where can I find the specs for these.
