Re: Wild blue /AOL

Go into IE and go to Tools>Internet Options>Connections.

Look at the radio buttons and make sure to check the one that says "Never Dial A Connection"

Then go down to Lan Settings and in the new window make sure it is not checked at the box that says "Automatically Detect Settings"

Hit Apply and close out of IE.

For good measure, you can also go to the DOS prompt via Start>Run>cmd

At the prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns
then ipconfig /release
then ipconfig /renew

You should see an IP address that is specific to WB and probably their server heading when the IP shows up.

Try IE and see if things come up. If not, then download FireFox or bring a disk with it with you to the install. Install the FireFox browser and see if you can get it to load a page since it isn't tied to AOL via some other previous connection or setting.
