If you are so foolish as to burn it and get caught, be prepared for a royal f***ing. The Government entities that be frown upon that kind of pollution and levy high fines.. i had a friend that found this out the hard way. If it is copper clad wire, expect very little for the wire (0.05-0.08 /lb) if it is solid copper and you take the time to strip it out you can get as much as $2.50/lb or more
