Re: D-Day by the Duck

Well one thing for sure I sure wont train an illegal nor work with one,on this I will stand firm. I feel that is one key point we as craftsmen can enforce. I will not even work for someone who may sub out the underground work to them. When I asked a prime about this practice the responce was and I quote "Thats okay cause we're making money off them". I find this offensive and un patriotic, if your not part of the solution your part of the problem. Has anyone noticed and I'm sure you have how low the prices for underground work have gotten? I know of a sub plowing tele drops for .36 a foot at 24"! I mean get real I told him he was a fool and should just go home cause its his own fualt and he is also part of the problem. We're entering into a new telecomunications boom with all the fiber upgrades to come and we should organize and demand top pay for top work. Okay I'm done everybody can now stick their heads back in the sand.
