I've been doing some research on the cards over the last year because when i get enough money saved up i am going to purchase a new TV. I do get mixed opinions on the cards. I am leaning towards a card cause my TV will be wall mounted with all the wires in the walls. I dont want a box cause no place to put it. From what i've have learned from researching and talking to reps at the store that i am going to purchase it at is this.
The current cable cards cant do PPV or on screen menu guide. Not too sure about the one that East211 is referring too. I was told that the current models of TV's (or at least the one that i am looking at) wont support the next generation card that will be coming out in the future.
Anybody have any input on the pros and cons of the cable card from a customers point of view.
