This is happening in all service and construction fields. I try my best to hire the best, but I know I am limited by what I can pay, too. Believe me, I'm not getting rich. Besides payroll, my biggest expense is payroll taxes and insurance - liability, work comp, auto, excess, health. I have written to my congressional reps that if these weren't so high, I could afford to pay higher wages and hire more people, too.
Nothing is going to change. It won't EVER be like it was in the 80s when everything was being built. I don't care if every home in America has CATV AND a dish, nothing will change the pricing structure........
