As for the comment about under charging causing problems with everyone else? I have to say that the charges also depend on where you are geographically. Even though it is all the same work, there are differences in pay structure from let's say MT to CA or MT to PA.
When I get a call to do a bid out of town? I call 3 different Data Comm. companies or electricians to get an idea of the local rate.
