I dont know about the dsam 6000 but it should be close to the sda 5000 as far as the analyzer goes. I have cleaned many nodes without the use of anyone in the headend. If they give you all day to work in a node that should be good enough. What is the telemetry that your return is sweeping to. If its like -4 or something maybe you could get them to raise it to +7. You can use your meter to find the ingress with ease if you know how. Not trying to take a stab at you.
