"All inclusive service call" wtf? Dtv tried that one a couple of years ago and it had a "up to specs" code which paid an extra $25. Now I am with Dish and if they want anything other than service restored on a service call, I call in and get a "re-install code" placed on the order and get the full install price.
That's how it is going where I am at and it sounds like a lot of BS from upper (or lower) management from what you guys are saying. These HSP's tend to get managers who want to prove themselves to their bosses by making techs go above and beyond standard procedures, so they can get a bonus or a promotion.
