Hello. I'm not sure if I'm where I need to be but I have some very general questions about the feasibility of getting a satellite dish and receiver and hooking it to my computer for viewing. I do not have any room up here in the cabin for a TV and I already have an iMac with a 1440x900 screen so I simply want to know how and where to start. I have FireWire400 ports and Ethernet10/100/1000 ports. I also have USB ports but they're only USB 1. As my name implies I'm up here in the hills with no other access to quality TV signals of any kind but satellite. Any help would be appreciated. (Actually I have a rather extensive background in electronics but it's all analog and ends in the eighties!)
