if you were seriously considering doing installs, for time to money ratio you would REALLY have to consider dishes. i can't say what your terrain would be like. after expenses i clear 9 to 1200 a week, i'm usually home by 7, but then again i don't usually get to my first job until about 9 or 10, i'm in dallas which covers a great deal of area. i could make more, but my shop is BIG on being done early. when i did cable i cleared about the same, but to get home at midnight was an all too common occurence. i could make more if i travelled i'm sure. with your knowledge and experience, i'm willing to bet you couldn't handle installs, and i don't mean that as an insult. the amount of bs is what makes installs tough. my motto is this: you could train a monkey to do installs, but a monkey is too smart put up with the bs. just my two cents.
