I have been doing mapping, construction, drops, splicing and etc. for the entire 13 years I've been in cable. I am in the North Central US and there just isn't any work in my immediate area. It has been good the last 4 years and I haven't had to travel away too far from home and kids. I don't really want to start again now when they are getting Really fun. There is some contract cable installing being done not too far from me and I am wondering if I should consider it or not. What kind of pay is normal, I'm not looking for price lists and line items, just ball park on weekly amount of money made on average. I know everyone has a little different experience and different regions pay different for everything. Any help or input is appreciated. Thanks!
