ps we had tornadoes a few days ago, and all the rs's from other techs made me 700 this weekend, no rationing of new connects for the techs that can get them done when the back ups hit!

i don't have an issue with safety. i tell the sub and the prime as soon as i expect things to get bad that this is going to be a minute by minute day. i've rescheduled many jobs because of high winds or lightning. i tell everyone the same joke on this subject: when it's flooding i pray for lightning and when it's 20 degrees i pray for ice.......when asked why i tell them, because in either of those situations i have an excuse to go home. it makes people smile but i'm not really kidding. i also make jokes with dispatch throughout the day such as "what do you think osha would say about me working 30 feet in the air with no safety gear in 50 mile an hour winds?" again it's just a joke, but they always know where i stand on hazardous weather conditions.
