John....no splitters at all..No cable tv just...No kmart anything..lol ..No programs running in background...Tested on this cpu and my wife's laptop..Through router...then not through router...Same all around..It's their problem and I have one more tech coming out today..I know it will be to no avail. I guess I have to call Bellsouth and get DSL...6 weeks for bad service from Comcast...Un-called for..Close to $60 with taxes for something that runs like poo...
