Mexico is 10% White. We have 20 million illegals in this country. It should stand to reason that about 2 million of those illegals would be White Mexicans. So, how come we don't see any White Jose standing in front of Home Depot going "Que?"
The reason is simple, the White Mexicans aren't crossing the border. They have no problem making it for themselves in Mexico. Mexico is a meritocracy. If you aren't worth a damn, you're not going to make it there. The people that are coming here from there aren't worth a damn in their nation and it certainly appears they aren't worth a damn here either.
Our nation was made great by immigrants who were worth a damn. Not by people who can't figure out a better means of financial improvement than to stand on a street corner with 200 other Mexicans. We would all love to live in this lovey-dovey utopia where every human is functionally useful, but the reality is that a large part of this earth is made up of people who should have died an accidental death before their tenth birthday resulting from their own stupidity. It is that kind of people that we shouldn't want in our country.
Mexico got the way it is because of the people that make up its society. If we absorb those people, we will be no better off than Mexico is currently. We have an open, porous border with Canada, but we don't see tons of Canadians hopping the border. That's because Canada is doing fine, and the reason is the quality of people in Canada. A Canadian would make it just fine either there or here, but I'm sure they see no reason to come here given what a fine nation they have made for themselves.
