having worked for the local mso as a sub and the prime's only employee (install/bury supervisor) for 400 miles for a couple years i've received enough emails from top to bottom in the mso, that i can always throw a name out and get results.........usually my line goes like this (it's x:xx oclock, i'm trying to print w/o's for my guys tomorrow and _________ (<----insert plant manager's name, or better) is going to (expletive here) flip if my guys aren't on their jobs by 8am. when they ask why i didn't tell whomever about the problem, i tell them that i can't call that man at home after the day we've had AT THIS HOUR .........always works best after hours. all the same, get a manager, then drop names. they just opened me up last time........were in my driveway at 8:30 am took off the traps, cleaned up the service loops the last guy had HACKED apart (made me mad every time i looked up at the pole), and made two post calls to make sure everything was working properly.
